  • I don’t think you can reblog a reblog but someone reblogged my thing and added this

    “

    1. a+ job anon now more harassment is going to go to those who were actually hurt by that fucking con a+ fucking plus job

    “

My apologies to the victims of the con.

  • Bronies gone Mad: The all out MOST SCARIEST bronies EVER at Everfree

    brony-horror-stories:

Heyo, I used to consider myself a brony. Now, after this little long tale, I just consider myself a fan. A die hard fan. I went to Everfree really for one reason: Theres this dude on DeviantArt who makes custom MLP FIM hair pieces that look like the show. I know, it doesn’t make sense. but look up…

People are actually reblogging this as non-satire. lol

  • Backing up stories of Ever Free

Hello, I was also at Ever Free Northwest over the weekend. While I was going to stay silent on my experience, once I ran into a post by mjolkk on Reddit, I was suprised by the reluctance on the part of some bronies to believe her stories of the con. I’m writing - anonymously, since I don’t want to face harassment - to back her up and hopefully add some specifics.

The Molestia meme was in full effect at the CMC panel, though I don’t think the VAs were aware of what it meant (thanfully). This was easily a situation where the staff could’ve done something…if they weren’t also joining in on it.

A transgendered individual who was cosplaying faced some harassment (cackles, etc) as well. Also, a final performer at the closing ceremonies included some sexist material in his ‘act’ - I believe he was doing comedy.

The choking incident has been verified elsewhere. Finally, throughout the whole ordeal, the occasional sexist/racist term (lots of n-words and c-words) were easy to hear.

I’m simply writing as a backup to the mjolkk post because it was being tossed aside so easily. Just because something bad is said about your fandom doesn’t mean the whole post should be dismissed. I hope this will line up with mjolkk’s experiences.

UPDATE: Here’s my followup to this post which includes more details of what happened from my perspective: http://everfreeattendee.tumblr.com/post/29965926413/followup
